FAQ's for Telehealth Sessions
  • What kind of equipment will I need?

    • Just a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera & an internet connection.

    • Because I'll need to see you and you'll need to see me, the camera may be far away.  Sometimes a laptop computer works best permitting better positioning of the camera while it's easier to see the display.

  • What website do I need to go to?

    • Once you've booked your appointment, you'll receive an e-mail invitation to a Zoom meeting.  If you don't have Zoom installed on your phone, tablet, or computer, you'll be guided to install it before your first meeting.  Be sure to log into your meeting about 5-10 minutes early to ensure it works appropriately.

    • Don't worry.  The Zoom program we're using is encrypted end-to-end.

  • Is there anything I need to do before our meeting?

    • Yes!  It's important that you complete all of the documents in the "Initial Visit" folder below.  Especially the form providing consent to treat!

  • Why are you wearing shorts?

    • In an office setting, it's easy to use my hands to position a client optimally making professional dress most appropriate.  In a telehealth visit, positioning often needs to be demonstrated.  We normally wear shorts during these visits so that you can see exactly how we want you to move or position yourself so that the treatment is most effective.
